What Happens After You Book a Photo Booth With Luxelle

The short version

‍ ‍

You tell us the date, the venue, and what you're celebrating. We recommend an experience, you confirm it with an agreement and a deposit, and from that point the work is ours: design, logistics, paperwork, setup, the event itself, breakdown, and delivery. Your job is to enjoy the night. Here's what each step actually looks like.

‍ ‍

1. Inquiry and recommendation

‍ ‍

It starts with the Check Availability form: date, venue, event type, guest count, and what you have in mind. We reply, confirm the date is open, and recommend a collection and a package. If you're deciding between Luxelle and SnapBliss, or between two Luxelle tiers, this is where we talk it through. Nothing is reserved yet; an inquiry holds nothing.

‍ ‍

2. Agreement and deposit

‍ ‍

Your date is reserved once the agreement and the deposit are complete. Pricing is secured at deposit, so what you agreed to is what you pay, whatever changes later in our pricing. The agreement spells out scope, timing, and the payment schedule, so there's nothing to interpret.

‍ ‍

3. The design conversation

‍ ‍

This is the part people don't expect, and the part that makes the booth feel like it belongs at your event. It happens however suits you: a call, a text thread, or email, usually with you sending photos from your phone. We ask for whatever defines the look: invitations, a monogram, your palette, floral inspiration, brand guidelines for a corporate event, and for weddings and celebrations, a favorite photo or short video of the two of you (or of her, for a quince) to use on the attract screen. From that we build the print template, the attract and sharing screens, and we recommend a backdrop: the Essential Collection, a Statement Collection wall, floral styling, neon.

‍ ‍

4. Venue logistics and paperwork

‍ ‍

We coordinate with your venue or planner directly. Placement on the floor plan, power, load-in and access, the setup footprint, and timing all get settled ahead of time. If your venue requires a Certificate of Insurance, we have one issued naming the venue and send it before they ask twice. Planners and venue coordinators can see our full operating standards on our planners page.

‍ ‍

5. Event day: arrival and setup

‍ ‍

We arrive roughly 1.5 to 3 hours before guest service begins, depending on the setup, in work clothes. We position the booth, calibrate the lighting for the room, test the camera, printer, and connectivity (with a cellular hotspot as standard), and change into event-appropriate attire before your first guest arrives. If the light in the room changes over the evening, from daylight to candlelight to dance floor, the attendant adjusts for it as it happens.

‍ ‍

6. During the event

‍ ‍

For Luxelle experiences, the attendant runs everything: welcoming guests, keeping the line moving, offering simple pose direction, managing prints, and keeping the area styled. Guests leave each session with a 2x6 strip and a 4x6 portrait, and the sharing station sends digital copies to their phones. For a SnapBliss kiosk, guests tap, pose, and share on their own; for Social Complete, a host keeps it fun and running. Either way, you don't have to manage us.

‍ ‍

7. Breakdown

‍ ‍

At the scheduled end time we close the booth quietly and pack out without interrupting the send-off or the last dance. Equipment is out of the room on the timeline you set with the venue.

‍ ‍

8. Delivery

‍ ‍

Every capture lands in a private online gallery for you and your guests. If Luxe Edit retouching or event content creation is part of your package, those deliverables follow on the timeline we confirm with you at booking. For corporate bookings, any lead-capture data is delivered as agreed and handled in a CCPA-compliant way.

‍ ‍

What you're actually responsible for

‍ ‍

Three things: pick a placement with us, send the design inputs, and tell your venue we're coming. Everything else is on our side. That's the point of hiring a professional booth instead of renting a device: the work leaves your list.

Questions about space, power, outdoor setups, or timing are on our FAQ. Or skip to step one.
